About Us

Power system engineering

Green Net Power Co., Ltd. is a power system engineering and consulting company based in Daejeon, Republic of Korea.

Our project experience includes FACTS control systems delivered to KEPCO Research Institute, a government-funded STATCOM coordinated-control program, 220 kV transmission feasibility studies, national transmission and substation planning, island microgrids, power quality engineering, and electricity tariff consulting.

Study Process

The work program is agreed for each assignment and generally follows four stages.

Confirm the study objectives, system boundary, technical criteria, schedule, interfaces, and available data.

System Modelling & Analysis

Prepare or validate the system model, define study cases, and perform the required power system analyses.

Results & Option Assessment

Review system performance, constraints, technical risks, and reinforcement or mitigation options.

Reporting & Technical Review

Issue the study report, present the results, address technical comments, and support agreed follow-on work.

Automated & Coordinated Control System for FACTS (UPFC)

Developed and delivered a SCADA-integrated optimal operation and control system for the UPFC at Gangjin Substation to KEPCO Research Institute. Also contributed to a government-funded R&D program on coordinated control of a 100 MVA-class STATCOM, including operation on the KEPCO grid at Migeum Substation.
